A person of many talents and friend to all, Bruce passed away in October of 2021. In addition to being Director of Folk Dance Camp for 25 years, Bruce influenced folk dancing across the country as a member and former President of the National Folk Organization, former President of the Folk Dance Federation of California, North, and a driving and unifying force in the Sacramento, California Area, where he managed classes and festivals.
