DONATION OPTIONS TO SUPPORT SUMMER STOCKTON FOLK DANCE CAMP
We appreciate donations of materials for the Library, money for scholarships, and supplementary funds to keep Camp functioning smoothly year after year. Over 95 percent of each donation goes directly to programs. This is your chance to invest in the future of our dance movement and become a contributing member of our family. Stockton Folk Dance Camp is a 501-c-3 nonprofit, so all donations are tax deductible. No contribution is too small. Remember us in your trust planning too!
Donate by check or use PayPal which allows you to designate a fund for your donation. While we offer PayPal for your convenience, please be aware that PayPal assesses charges on all transactions, and those charges add up to hundreds of dollars per year. Writing a check may be a bit more time-consuming and involve an envelope and a stamp, but ensures that your ENTIRE donation comes to Stockton Folk Dance Camp.
Jack McKay Endowment
The Jack McKay Endowment was established during the 60th year of Folk Dance Camp by Dr. Stephen Turner. The fund has grown to over $300,000. Donations to this fund help guarantee the financial stability of Folk Dance Camp, support live music, high quality instructors brought to Stockton every year, and defray the cost of the specialty banquets.
If you prefer to write a check, make it payable to Folk Dance Camp with Jack McKay on the memo line.
Library Fund
The Library fund supports the conversion of the Lawton Harris Collection of Folk Dance Materials to usable digital formats and aids in the purchase of modern storage equipment.
If you prefer to write a check, make it payable to Folk Dance Camp with Library on the memo line.
Folk Dance Materials For Library
If you have materials related to folk dancing, Stockton Folk Dance Camp oversees the donation of such material to the Lawton Harris Collection of Folk Dance Materials.
Direct Donation to Operational Expenses
Camp accepts direct donations for operational expenses. Write a check payable to Folk Dance Camp with Operations on the memo line.
Scholarship Funds
The Scholarship Fund assists dancers who otherwise could not afford to come to Camp. Scholarship recipients are expected to perform a job at Camp. Donations help send a deserving dancer to Camp, which provides the extra help that keeps Camp running smoothly. In addition to the general Camp Scholarship Fund, there are specific scholarships in honor of Bruce Mitchell, Bora Gajicki, Jean Brown and Oscar Faoro. When making a donation, simply indicate if you would like the funds to go into a particular account.
If you prefer to write a check, make it payable to Folk Dance Camp and note the specific scholarship fund (if restricted).
