SFO – If you fly into SFO (San Francisco International Airport), we recommend taking Groome Transportation ( groometransportation.com/monterey ) to SJC (San Jose International Airport), then following the recommendations for getting to camp from SJC.

  1. Schedule & Frequency
  • Daily Service: Shuttles run 7 days a week, roughly every 90 minutes to 2 hours.
  • From SFO: First departure around 7:30 AM; last departure around 10:30 PM.
  • From SJC: First departure around 8:30 AM; last departure around 11:30 PM.
  • Please check the official Groome schedule for the most current departure times before booking.

  1. Pickup Locations at the Airport
  • SFO (San Francisco):
    • Domestic Terminals 1, 2, & 3: Follow signs to the Baggage Claim level. Exit the building and cross to the center island. Look for the blue pillars labeled “Airporters.”
    • International Terminal: Exit the Customs area and follow signs for Ground Transportation. Locate the center island and look for the “Airporters” sign.
  • SJC (San Jose):
    • Terminal A: Proceed to the Ground Transportation Center, Stop #4.
    • Terminal B: Proceed to the Ground Transportation Center, Stop #12.
  1. Important Details
  • Reservations: We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance at groometransportation.com/monterey or by calling (831) 373-7777.
  • Check-in: Please arrive at your designated pickup pillar at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
  • Luggage: Your fare includes 1 big suitcase or 2 smaller ones and one small carry-on. Additional or oversized items (like large instruments) may incur an extra fee.
